Meet "Brandon LEWIS"

Brandon Lewis aka B-Riddimz: A Rhythmic Architect of Modern Sound
When a musician masters the ability to maintain his unique identity while simultaneously honoring the collective vision of his peers, we can confidently say he has “his own sound.” Brandon Lewis, known in the music world as B-Riddimz, is one such artist who has seamlessly carved out a distinct sonic fingerprint.
Since moving to New York City in 2009, Brandon’s career as a professional drummer has been in perpetual motion. Growing up immersed in music from an early age, he quickly found himself at the forefront of a new wave of musicians incorporating electronic synthesized beats atop a jazz foundation. His evolution as an artist has been shaped by an expansive musical palette, spanning free improvisation, jazz, pop harmony, classical composition, funk, and reggae. Beyond this, he embraces the ethos of DJ culture, infusing his musical phrasing and beat-making with an electronic sensibility that reflects the energy of modern soundscapes.
While only recently stepping forward to share his own music with the world, Brandon has already made an indelible mark as a drummer for some of today’s most influential bands and artists. His collaborations include performances with Frederick’s Brown (featuring Deva Mahal), Ilhan Ersahin, Hernan Romero Trio, Bob Quaranta, JoJo Mayer’s NERVE, and Art Decade.
Currently, Brandon holds down the groove as a core member of several cutting-edge projects, including Brooklyn Gypsies, Wax Poetic, Technicolor Lenses, and V Zone. In each of these ensembles, he serves as the rhythmic foundation, supplying the deep, infectious grooves that drive the music forward. Whether on stage or in the studio, B-Riddimz continues to redefine the role of a modern drummer—bridging the gap between tradition and innovation while solidifying his place in the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary music.
